*Membership eligibility and account requirements apply. Referring members are limited to a maximum of five (5) qualified referrals per calendar quarter. To qualify, the Referring Member must be an existing, active South Bay Credit Union member in good standing at the time of referral and at the time any bonus is credited. The New Member must be a first-time South Bay Credit Union member who opens a new membership savings account with a minimum $5 opening deposit, is not currently listed on any South Bay Credit Union account, and meets all membership eligibility and account-opening requirements, including enrollment in eStatements. Upon satisfaction of all eligibility and promotional requirements, a $50 deposit account bonus will be credited to the Referring Member’s account and a $50 deposit account bonus will be credited to the New Member’s account within thirty (30) days from the date the New Member’s qualifying account(s), as determined by South Bay Credit Union, are established. All referrals are subject to verification. South Bay Credit Union reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine eligibility, to disqualify any referral, and to deny, withhold, or recover all or a portion of any bonus if it determines the referral does not meet program requirements or involves misuse of the promotion, including referrals involving related individuals. This promotion is a limited time offer and may be modified or discontinued at any time without notice and prior to account opening. Bonus amounts may be reported to the Internal Revenue Service as required by law.

**Limited-Time 10,000th Member Promotion: In the event the referred New Member is officially designated by South Bay Credit Union as the 10,000th overall member of the credit union, as determined solely by South Bay Credit Union’s membership records, the standard $50 referral bonus for both the Referring Member and the New Member will be replaced with a $1,000 deposit account bonus for each party. Only the Referring Member and the New Member associated with the officially recognized 10,000th membership account will qualify for the $1,000 bonus. All determinations of membership sequence and eligibility for the 10,000th member designation shall be made by South Bay Credit Union in its sole discretion and shall be final. The $1,000 bonus will be credited within thirty (30) days after confirmation that all membership eligibility, account opening, and promotional requirements have been satisfied. If a referred New Member does not qualify as the 10,000th member, the standard $50 referral bonus will apply, provided all other program requirements are met.
